¨Being
in the business for more than two decades now, and being
the largest independent supplier of glass containers in
Central America and the Caribbean, motivates us to constantly
improve our efficiency so that our customers receive the
highest standard of service and quality¨. top
Production:
VIPASA currently concentrates on the production
of a great variety of glass bottle containers, flat glass
and customized/individual bottles that require specialized
molds. Our primary objective is to produce products
that are of superior quality at the most competitive prices
for all of our local clients as well as commercial and
industrial multinational companies.
VIPASA´S
containers are used for food products, sauces, soft drinks,
beer, wine and liquor, pharmaceuticals, and ornamental
bottles to mention a few. Vipasa´s flat glass is
used for the exterior and interior of commercial and residential
buildings. We
also provides specialized molds for a wide variety of
glass products.
All
of our products are produced using the ¨Online Thickness
Selector and Electronic Measurement¨ system, developed
by Emhart Powers. This process is utilized to electronically
measure the diameter of the product being produced to
ensure the proper thickness. Additionally all of our products
are produced using ¨HEYE¨ technology from Germany;
this process reduces the overall weight of the finished
product, reducing the cost of the raw material needed
for production and the cost of freight. This process directly
benefits our clients because of the financial savings
involved.
VIPASA
has been recognized for implementing and maintaining all
of the international environmental regulations in practice
today. All of our products are produced and all of our
waste materials are disposed of, following the strictest
quality control procedures. top
The
process:
The process begins with the acquisition of the raw materials
necessary for the production of high quality glass products.
These raw materials are stored in large element proof
Silo´s. Once stored, the raw materials are mixed
precisely according to the product to be manufactured.
The mixture is then transferred to the main furnace for
melting.
Once
the melting is completed, the melted glass is transferred
to two double Gob bottle-forming machines where the glass
is formed. Once
formed, the bottles pass through the cold line section
where the bottles cool down and are inspected at the quality
control center. The selected bottles are then decorated,
inspected again and finally packaged and shipped to our
customers. top
Quality
Control/Computerized
Design:
Our quality control department is in charge of planning
and executing all of the rigorous objectives we place
on the quality of our products.
Our
highly skilled staff meticulously plans, develops, decorates
and evaluates each product for all of our customers, always
on a one on one basis.
Our
Computerized Design Department is in charge of designing
the blue prints for those clients that require personalized
molds because of a special design or a unique model. top
Packaging
- Storage - Shipment:
All of our products are vacuum packed by our packaging
department, this allows for reduced storage space for
our customers. Because of this type of packaging, our
products are shipped to their final destination with the
highest level of security allowing for minimal breakage.
Our
Warehouse has the capacity to store more than 20,000,000
individual units, allowing us to maintain high levels
of inventory for all of our customers.
Because
of our inventory, we have been able to develop a consecutive
and orderly system of shipment to those customers that
have limited space in their own facilities due to their
high production demand; this is highly useful because
this helps our customers plan their production costs annually.
Our
shipping department takes care of all the logistics involved
in the shipment of all of our products. Currently we ship
our products to ten different countries in North, Central
and South America including the Caribbean.
